My name is G. Tremain Merrell.  I have been an entertainer for over 25 years. I went on to study Biblical Studies and Theatre at William Carey University and earned my M.B.A. in Entertainment Management at American InterContinental University of Atlanta, Georgia.  In 2015, I was awarded the distinctions of Valedictorian and Advance Academic Achievement in the Journalism Department of Full Sail University where I earned a Master of Arts Degree in New Media Journalism. 

 

In 2017, I began my professional acting career. I quickly became known for having a natural talent for comedic timing, an intimidating presence, and a "Golden" voice. I’ve been blessed to play malicious antagonists, as well as lovable losers. I’ve been cast in commercials (“HappyHealthy.com” MSU and Swerve Sweetener), films (The Final Heist, The Fighting Belle, The Prayer, Christmas Dilemma, Vanquished, Bruh-Bruh, and Rumble Through the Dark), and even television shows (Treme’, Breakout Kings, and Queen Sugar). Finally, as of August of 2021, I gained membership of the Screen Actors Guild of America (SAG Union).

 

My mission with Big Main Films is to bring representation and triumph to film production while helping customers visualize an escape from real world problems and see characters that look like them win.
